We are an established consultancy with offices in Bath, UK. Our emphasis is on helping clients to refine or sell their classic car collections. We can represent you in a sale or purchase, or lead you to the best outcome via the auction process

Being a lifelong enthusiast of classic cars Annette decided to get into the business after selling her production company in 2003. She joined a car dealership in Germany and then decided to learn about classic car auctions, teaming up with the biggest and most successful auction house in the world.

Annette joined RM Sotheby’s in 2006 as a car specialist, where she regularly performed in the top 5 results for the next 10 years. She then decided to focus on her key clients in order advise on how to help them refine their collections. Although Annette specialises in Ferrari and Mercedes, she is most knowledgeable about automobiles manufactured in the pre-war to 1960s eras.

In addition, she continues to build her own impressive personal collection, including a Mercedes 300 SL Roadster, Brabham BT36, Ferrari Dino GTS, Jaguar E Type SI and Invicta S Type. She regularly participates in classic car rallies and is a member of the Selecting Committee of the most prestigious Concorzo d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

Annette is fluent in English, French, Turkish, and German.

Where there are rare, unique classic cars, Annette will never be very far away. She knows what collectors are looking for.

Julia Edwards is responsible for finance and administration at Abaci.  She is a long-term associate of Annette’s, having worked with her for several years at RM Auctions between 2007 and 2010 as European Finance Manager.

After taking several years out in India (where she drove a Hindustan Ambassador in two rallies), Julia returned in 2014 to help set up Annette’s UK consultancy and they have worked together ever since.

Julia has been Annette’s co-driver and navigator on at least ten rallies all over the world – including New Zealand, Georgia, Germany, Austria, Portugal and the UK.

She doesn’t own a classic car – she’s far too sensible for that!
